City of Whittier

Whittier is located at the head of Passage Canal, a fjord in Western Prince William Sound. Whittier's ice-free port is the premier charter destination in Southcentral Alaska. It is approximately 62 miles southeast of Anchorage and 150 miles north of Kenai and is within easy reach of Alaska’s major population centers.

Whittier Habor
To reach our office, you can drive from Anchorage   south along Turnagain Arm to Portage or north
from Kenai. In the spring of 2000, a new road
that follows the railway road bed opened to   automobile access for the first time into Whittier.

Connect to the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel
to see the tunnel schedule and availability.
We look forward to seeing you!
